This Privacy Policy explains how Routes Software SRL (“Routes Software”, “we”, “us”) handles data in connection with the Deshake iOS app, which stabilizes shaky video on iPhone and iPad.
In short: your videos are stabilized entirely on your device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. Deshake has no user accounts. We collect a small amount of anonymous diagnostic and usage data through Google Firebase to keep the app working. We do not sell your data and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
All motion analysis, stabilization and export run locally on your iPhone or iPad. We never receive, upload or store the video you edit. The only content that ever leaves your device is what you choose to save or share yourself.
To keep Deshake working and to fix problems, we use Google Firebase, which collects limited information that is not tied to your identity:
If you buy a Deshake purchase or subscription, the transaction is handled by Apple. We only learn whether your purchase is active; we never see your payment details.
If you email us, or use an in-app “Contact developer” option, your message reaches info@routes.tips. Anything you send — your email address, your message, and any technical details the app pre-fills (the clip's format and your app and device information) — is shared with us so we can help, and is used only to respond to you.
Deshake asks for access to your Photo Library so you can import the clips you choose and save stabilized results back. If you import or export through the Files app instead, access is limited to the file you pick. Access is used only for those actions and only with your permission, and you can change or withdraw it at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security.
We rely on the following providers, who process the data described above on our behalf. Data may be processed on their servers, including in the United States.
Analytics and diagnostic data is retained according to Firebase's configured limits and is then deleted or anonymized. We keep emails you send us only as long as needed to handle your request.
You can stop all analytics and diagnostic collection at any time by deleting the app from your device.
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA and UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. Because the data described above is tied only to a random identifier and not to your identity, we may need that identifier in order to act on a request. Write to info@routes.tips and we will help.
Deshake is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and note any material change in the app's release notes.
